Monthly meeting for Ward 10 which covers Goodyear Heights, Middlebury and parts of East Akron. Sharon Connor is the Ward 10 council member.
Conner also holds a meeting at 12:30 p.m. on the same day and location. You may choose to attend either.
From the City of Akron website: “Ward 10 features some of the most historic roots in all of Akron; spanning both the Goodyear Heights neighborhood of Goodyear Tire & Rubber fame, and Middlebury, Akron’s oldest neighborhood. Ward 10 has one of the two public pools in the City at Reservoir Park. Make sure to stick around in the evening to catch the newly-relit Goodyear Sign over the company’s world headquarters in Middlebury. Another Ward 10 landmark is the iconic Goodyear Heights Metro Park, featuring multiple trails and a scenic view of Alder Pond and all the wildlife within. Get dinner and dessert in one go at La Fresa, which serves both delicious ice cream and Mexican cuisine right by the Metro Park.”
