Columbus City Council Zoning Committee considers changes to land use in the city, including rezonings and variances. The meeting is scheduled on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers, following the full council meeting. The start of this meeting may be delayed if council runs late.
Committee members usually start with rezoning ordinances and amendments then take on variance requests.

The council clerkâs office tells us that anyone attending the meeting can park in the garage at 141 N Front St for free. Just let the security guard know that you are attending the meeting and they will let you in. It is a short walk across the greenspace to City Hall. Street parking may be available.

Columbus City Council is the legislative branch of the government of the City of Columbus, Ohio. There are nine council members who represent more than 900,000 residents. Each council member represents one of nine city districts. Members are elected to four year terms.
Council is responsible for adopting annual operating and capital budgets, city contracts and enacting the Columbus city codes. Council also establishes land use policy through its zoning powers.
